The annual NJCAA Convention Awards honors leadership within the association who have gone above and beyond in their service. In addition to recognizing NJCAA leadership, the event will also reveal association award winners such as Athletic Director of the Year, Trainer of the Year, and SID of the Year.

The 2021 Convention Awards will be highlighted by keynote speaker Lisa Borders. CEO of LMB Group, LLC, a management consultant firm, and recently chaired the Borders Commission, a strategic task force chartered by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Among many accolades and previous leadership roles, Borders was the inaugural president and CEO of TIME'S UP, an organization that advocates for safe, fair, and dignified work for all women. Borders is also the former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) President, where she established live streaming games on Twitter and accelerated the league's growth.
