Wanda Bodey began working with the NJCAA National Office in 1997. As the Director of Compliance and Eligibility, Bodey helps oversees eligibility and letters of intent and with that comes answering eligibility questions and rulings. She also assists member colleges with the eligibility and letter of intent systems and works with the executive committee, eligibility committee, region directors and assistant regional directors on various issues that arise day to day.

In 1994 Bodey began as a receptionist and was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Associate Executive Director and served in the position for several years. After going back to school and earning a bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2012, Bodey was promoted as the Associate Director of Compliance before being named the Director of Compliance and Eligibility in 2018.

Bodey grew up in the small town of Eads in Eastern Colorado and currently hails in Pueblo West, Colorado with her husband and 24 year old daughter.

When the Eads native is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog and family and taking advantage of the great outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping or anything near water.
