Liz Homrig joined the NJCAA in January 2022 after nine and a half years with the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis, IN.
Homrig joins the NJCAA after working for the Championships and Alliances department at the NCAA for over 9 years. Homrig has experience managing championships across all three NCAA divisions and most recently was the championship manager for Division I Women’s Lacrosse, Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving and Division II Men’s and Women’s Cross Country. In addition to managing the day-to-day responsibilities of her assigned championships, Homrig was also in charge of leading sport committees, the Division II Championships Committee and served as the Championships and Alliances liaison for the NCAA Postgraduate Internship Program.
Homrig started her career as a member of the 2011-12 NCAA postgraduate intern class after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Emory University. While at Emory, Homrig was a psychology major and sociology minor and a member of the swim team. Homrig also holds a Master of Public Affairs degree, with a concentration in nonprofit management, from Indiana University.
